A multidisciplinary team of BDO Legal Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH and BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft led by Düsseldorf-based partners Thorsten Schumacher (BDO Legal) and Jan Odewald (BDO) advised RWTÜV Group (Essen) on the acquisition of all shares in G+N Consult Baumanagement GmbH (G+N Consult).
G+N Consult specialises in project management and project control for construction of real estate projects. G+N Consult's clients include national and international project developers and investors, owner-occupiers and public clients. Since 1993, G+N Consult has managed, managed and completed well over 100 projects with various requirements in terms of use and architecture, including the construction of the new “Mizal” office building in Düsseldorf, the renovation of the Düsseldorf “Schauspielhaus” and the construction of the “Grand Bateau” office building in Düsseldorf.
Essen-based RWTÜV Group is a holding for technology service providers whose national and international portfolio companies are particularly active in the fields of insurance services, information and telecommunications technology and energy & environment. The main shareholders of RWTÜV are RWTÜV e.V. and the RWTÜV Foundation.
BDO's team acted as corporate finance and tax advisor in the transaction, while BDO Legal advised CUBIS Consulting Group GmbH in the preparation and execution of the transaction. For the legal due diligence of the project management agreements, BDO Legal brought in a team from Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner mbB led by Cologne-based partner Dr Markus Beaumart.
